Right now, I’m taking a coffee break in the living room while Fer, Dora-chan and Sui were lounging on the thick carpet. I was staring at the ceiling blankly when it suddenly occurred to me what I had been trying to remember. That’s right, it’s about time for me to give offerings to Demiurgos-sama.
Alright, since Demiurgos-sama usually left everything to me, let’s have a look and see what Tanaka’s Liquor Shop has to offer.
As I sipped my coffee, I opened up [Net Super] and located the liquor shop tab.
Oh wow, there’s something called a ‘Wine Festival’ going on. Moreover, the wines would be recommended not only by the store manager but also by a clerk with actual sommelier qualifications.
“Hmm? I guess wine is pretty popular with certain people.”
Back in my previous world, my boss loved wine. Every time we have a drinking party, he would drink and talk a lot about different kinds of wine.
While I leaned back to slowly study the recommendations, Sui bounced up next to me.
““Aruji~ what are you looking at~?””
“Hm? These? I’m looking through some offerings for God,”
“Yes, I must prepare offerings to God each week so that they would protect us,”
I have no idea how much Sui understands. However, she seems to be interested in the screen.
“Be sure to pray diligently to Ninril-sama and prepare suitable offerings for her,” said Fer from his position on the floor.
“Sorry, but I can’t give Ninril-sama anything,” after all, she has to do her time. Just like all the other gods and goddesses.
“Nanui!? You dare neglect Ninril-sama!?”
“Ah, no, it can’t be helped since she’s being punished by a more powerful god. The God of Creation-sama. Fer, surely you’re not going to tell me to go against the God who created this world?”
You are welcome to speak with Demiurgos-sama if you have any complaints.
“Nuu… T-That’s…” Yeah, I don’t think so. This is Fer who still thinks Deplorable-sama is an almighty being. There’s no way a deeply religious creature like him would dare to go against the God of Creation. ““Aruji~ Aruji~ is this food~?””
“Hm, no, this is liquor. It’s not something you should try yet. Oh, right. Would you like some cake? You haven’t had any today, right?”
““Cake~! Cake~! Yes~~”” Sui bounced happily in place.
“I suppose Fer and Dora-chan would like some too?”
So, I switched the tab over to Fujiya’s menu and made the order for two Strawberry Shortcakes for Fer and Pudding for Dora-chan, “Hey, they have some limited edition Strawberry Pudding, would you like to try it?”
““Naw, gimme the regular. Two of them!””
““Sui wants this one and this one~~”” Sui pointed out a Blueberry Tart and a Strawberry Cake Roll.
After checking the items out and feeding my familiars, I returned the [Net Super] screen to Tanaka’s Liquor Shop, a second coffee in hand. I guess it’s not a bad idea to get some wine along with the usual Japanese saké for Demiurgos-sama. I should get snacks that go with wine too, of course. Though I’ve heard my boss talk on and on about wine, I’m still relatively illiterate when it comes to wine. Let’s just go with whatever is on the Recommendations List.
German White Wine made from Riesling white grapes
This wine is loved by Bismarck
Has a refreshing sweetness, fresh fruity aroma with a touch of acidity.
Sommelier Clerk’s Recommendation
French Wine from a certain manga
Well-balanced, delicate yet harmonious
I shouldn’t go wrong with these two wines.
As for the saké, I picked my selection out from the ranking list as usual. This time, I chose to go with the Weekly Ranking List.
Rank No. 1
Produced from the Aomori prefecture
This saké has many positive reviews
Refreshing, rich and delicious
Rank No. 2
Junmai Daiginjo from the Fukushima prefecture
Its label is made with Washi paper
Reviews included positive comments like ‘Extremely delicious’ and ‘I’ll definitely have it again’
Naturally, I included a premium gift pack of canned food to go with the saké. I also bought Camembert cheese and smoked cheese that looked like they would go well with wine.
“Okay, this should do it,” once I checked the items out, I lined them up on a cardboard box altar and put my hands together to pray. “Demiurgos-sama, please accept my offerings,”
“Oooh, it’s you. Thank you for the regular offerings.”
“For this week, please enjoy a special drink made from grapes. Of course, I’ve also included sake as part of the usual offering. For the snacks, aside from the premium canned food, I’ve also included cheese which should go well with the grape wine.”
“Ooh, I look forward to it. Fuoh, fuoh, fuoh.”
With a flash of light, the sake, wine, canned food and cheese all disappeared.
“Alright, it’s been a busy day today,” I said, clapping my hands together. “Let’s have a bath before going to bed.”
“Yes, would you like to join me, Sui?”
I enjoyed the spacious bath with Sui and Dora-chan, Fer having slunk off somewhere on his own.
This bath was large enough for me to stretch my legs out and relax. Ahhhhh….
After swimming in the warm water for a while, I spent a little time floating on my back as I contemplated life.
When I got tired of the bath, I left it and went to bed immediately.
For some reason, even though we have so many rooms in the house, Fer, Dora-chan and Sui still stayed in the same room as me.
Still, I’m pretty used to the daily ‘Good night’s that I didn’t even realise until later.
I guess it’s fine for tonight.
[Gumihou: Lol, I have a feeling it will stay like this for a long, long time~~]

Riesling – a type of white grape especially bred to make white wine. There are a lot of different kinds of Riesling white wine
He liked ‘a Riesling’ from Reichsrat von Buhl winery, from a single vineyard called ‘Ungeheuer’
It’s kind of hard to pin down the exact wine since nothing seems to match the flavour profile.
But… 9 out of 12 wines are from France…
