Why is Gumihou wasting her time re-translating early chapters when she should focus on her time translating the latest chapters?

Someone comment about this earlier when she posted the first 8 chapters last year and Gumihou thought she should address this first. 

Because I want to.

Because I want my reader to have a wonderful experience reading Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi.

Because it’s kind of weird to read something that equivalent to unedited draft which really doesn’t bring out the full potential of the story.

The re-translation would probably go on until Chapter 42.

Gumi only translate bits here and there in her, very scant, free time. It took me almost a year to translate 30 chapters since there’s no hurry because other translation exists.
