凉拌藕片 – Sliced Lotus Root Salad

Sliced Lotus Root Salad  凉拌藕片

 – (Liángbàn ǒu piàn)




Makes 1 plate



Lotus Root 2 root blocks
Chilli 2
Scallion 2 Stalks
Garlic Cloves 4
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Light Soy Sauce To taste
Mature Vinager To taste
Spicy Oil 2 tblsp
Fragrant Oil Appropriate amount
Spicy Vinegar To taste

  1. Wash, peel and slice the lotus root. It doesn’t have to be too thin


  1. Roughly chop up the chilly, scallion and garlic cloves


  1. Boil the sliced lotus root in boiling water until tender. Set aside to cool.


  1. Mix all the liquid seasoning in a bowl making to your taste. Toss the cooled lotus root with the seasoning sauce and chopped ingredients


  1. Serve
