Sliced Lotus Root Salad – 凉拌藕片
– (Liángbàn ǒu piàn)
Makes 1 plate
|Lotus Root||2 root blocks|
|Light Soy Sauce||To taste|
|Mature Vinager||To taste|
|Spicy Oil||2 tblsp|
|Fragrant Oil||Appropriate amount|
|Spicy Vinegar||To taste|

- Wash, peel and slice the lotus root. It doesn’t have to be too thin
- Roughly chop up the chilly, scallion and garlic cloves
- Boil the sliced lotus root in boiling water until tender. Set aside to cool.
- Mix all the liquid seasoning in a bowl making to your taste. Toss the cooled lotus root with the seasoning sauce and chopped ingredients
